Hi Victor Trail Users,

The Southern Valley Trails Project is continuing with a community discussion about our heavily used and enjoyed Pole Canyon trail. As you know, this trail and trail head is used year round by a broad cross section of our trail users. Whether you are a motorized or non-motorized user, you have likely spent time in Pole Canyon.

So, please come to the Victor Community Partnership Office (Center and Main, Old Sotheby's House) on Tuesday June 15th at 6pm to discuss the future of Pole Canyon.

Agenda:

6:00 - 7:00 pm Discuss Specific User Groups' Current Interest in Pole Canyon

* Who is currently using Pole Canyon?
* Why do they use Pole Canyon?
* When do they use Pole Canyon?
* What role does it play within the Southern Valley Trails network?
* What work is the USFS planning for the summer of 2010?

7:00 - 8:00pm Discuss Specific User Groups' Future Desires

* How would you like to see this trail evolve in the future?
* What are the limitations?
* What could make your experience in Pole Canyon better?

Next Steps:
* Compile results of this meeting.
* Email out what was discussed and ask for further feedback from those not present (including Victor City Council)
* Discuss users' desires with local USFS Ranger District.
* Schedule another meeting to discuss the Mail Cabin drainage.
* Continue working on a Southern Valley Trails Plan that can be supported by the Victor City Council.
